- Get involved with student programme Enterprise! and find out how you can turn your business dreams into reality.
- Kingston University receives regular visits from inspirational guest speakers who run multi-million pound businesses. Previous speakers include Levi Roots, who rose to fame after appearing on the BBC programme Dragons' Den, and YouTube millionaire Jamal Edwards.
- Take part in the annual Bright Ideas competition, giving you the opportunity to develop an idea and win up to £1,000.
Gain work experience
At Kingston, you may have the opportunity to go on a sandwich year, or year in industry, where you complete a paid work placement in between years two and three of your undergraduate degree. As well as providing an opportunity to practice your skills, work experience is a great way to build industry links – many students even go on to work with their placement company after graduating.
