Kingston University International Study Centre prepares you to study at a forward-thinking university

The Department of Computer Science at Kingston University is focused on preparing its students for a constantly-changing industry. Its courses are fully accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Teaching focuses on real-world scenarios and is delivered in state-of-the-art computer labs. The International Study Centre provides specialist preparation to help you build your skills and progress to a degree at the University. You will get specialist tuition in English language and study skills, as well as studying modules from your chosen computer science degree.

Our computing courses ranking rose by 34 places in the Guardian University League Tables 2018. 90% of students in work or further study within 6 months of graduation (Destination of Leavers from Higher Education, 2018).

On this course, you will have access to the newly launched CAVE (Centre for Augmented and Virtual Environments) featuring HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Sony PlayStation VR headsets. You'll benefit from the University's educational partnership with Sony and have the chance to work with the latest technology and develop for the PlayStation 4 console.

The course curriculum is aligned with numerous industry recognised certifications; examples of which include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) for cyber security and AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE) for digital forensics.

This degree is a state-of-the-art course, based on our previous experience of offering a course that has been pivotal in the careers of many alumni who are now working for leading organisations in cyber security related roles.
